The story of Prophet Suleiman (AS) for children!

Suleiman's story (AS)

Suleiman (AS) was the son of Dawood (AS). David (AS) was also a Prophet and King. Suleiman (AS) had some special abilities. You will be surprised to know that he understands the language of all the birds and can talk to them.

Allah (swt) blessed him abundantly to rule his kingdom. They had huge forces of genes, men, birds, wild animals, and there was a lot of knowledge about many other things.

Here's an interesting story:

One day Suleiman (AS) was roaming towards a valley with his huge army. On seeing the huge army entering the valley, an ant screams and warned other ants of their arrival. He asked them to go away and go into their homes, so that they could not take action by them. Suleiman (AS) was happy to hear this. They thank Allah for providing special ability to understand silent organisms.

He made the dua:

Rabbi Awzi'ni an Ashkura nimatakallati an'amta 'alayya wa'ala waalidayya or a helpless silhouette tardaahu wa'adqilni the rahmatika fi ibadika-saaliheen. Koran (27: 17-19)

In this prayer he enables Allah to thank Allah for him and his parents on behalf of his side and enable him to do good deeds in order to please Allah and make him among his religious slaves. .

This should be our attitude when Allah (swt) blesses us with good things. Suleiman (AS) was always grateful for Allah and obedient Muslims.

Story of Hoopoe and Belkis:

Suleiman (AS) also had a hupo bird in the army. One day, Hoopo told him that a queen named Belkis was ruled by Sheba at one place. The queen was very rich and had a precious throne made of pearl and gold. But he and his people did not worship Allah. Instead, they worshiped the sun which was created by Allah. Satan had fooled him into thinking that the sun is his god.

Suleiman (AS) was upset with this and wanted to direct him on the path: the path of Islam where we worship Allah alone. He sent a letter to invite them to become a Muslim.

Upon receiving the letter, Queen Belkis sent a gift to bribe Sulaiman and to make friendship. But Suleman (AS) refused the offer because he was the Prophet of Allah and could not bear the cooperation of partners with Allah.

He sent a threat to them that if they do not become Muslims, then he will send a large army against them and destroy them. Rani surrendered to receive this warning because he knew well that he would be defeated by the massive army of Suleiman.

Suleman ordered one of the jinns to fetch the throne of the Queen before meeting him. A genie brought the throne to the time when these two states were far away from each other.

Suleman changed some of the throne jewelery. When the queen reached her palace to surrender herself, then Solomon asked him if he could recognize his throne. He was not able to recognize his throne because he was slightly changed and he could not even believe how he could reach here from his palace.

The royal palace of Sulaiman was made of crystal glass. And the streams of water were filled with lots of fish in it. You can imagine it as an aquarium. When Queen Bilqis was entering, she mistook her for the pool and exposed her legs. But it was told that it is crystal glass and there is no pool.
